Dear colleague and friends!
We are pleased to announce the contributions just made by the joint research group of Publishing house “Virtus Interpress” and the International Research Center for Banking and Corporate Governance of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking. These contributions have been made to the recent consultative documents:
- “Strengthening the resilience of the banking sector” (by Basel Committee);
- “Effective corporate governance” (by Financial Services Authority).
The contributions have been done as a result of research undertaken by two groups of researchers. The first group consists of Prof. Alexander Kostyuk, Ms. Ekaterina Kondrunina and Ms. Olga Neselevskaya (Ukrainian Academy of Banking). The group contributed to the consultative document “Strengthening the resilience of the banking sector”. Please, see the comments enclosed (Consultative Document 1). The group would be happy to receive comments on the proposals. The group is going to prepare the paper for discussion with regard to the proposals made, to be presented and discussed at the Online International Conference “Corporate Governance in banks (see the web-site www.virtusinterpress.org for more details of the event).
The second group consists of Prof. Alexander Kostyuk, Ms. Maria Oleschiuk and Mr. Oleg Ruban (Ukrainian Academy of Banking). The group contributed to the consultative document “Effective corporate governance”. Please, see the comments enclosed (Consultative Document 2). The group would be happy to receive comments on the proposals. The group is going to prepare the paper for discussion with regard to the proposals made, to be presented and discussed at the Online International Conference “Corporate Governance in banks (see the web-site www.virtusinterpress.org for more details of the event).
