THE GLOBAL CORPORATE GOVERNANCE EXPERTS DIRECTORY

Dear colleagues!

Publishing house Virtus Interpress in December 2007 initiated a new project – The Global Corporate Governance Experts Directory. We are going to publish the Directory by March 2009. The Directory will contain information about corporate governance experts throughout the world. All experts will be grouped by the fields of research. We underlined the following field of research in corporate governance:

-corporate ownership

-corporate control

-auditing

-board of directors

-independent directors

-board committees

-executive compensation

-shareholders’ rights

-financial reporting and disclosure

-corporate social responsibility

-earnings management

-general corporate governance

Besides that all experts will be grouped by countries of their recent residence. Such double way of grouping will allow very effective approach for searching any expert in the Directory. Therefore, info about each expert will contain his field of research, affiliation, contacts.

The first edition of the Directory will contain information about 4000 experts from more than 70 countries of the world. It would be an excellent device to improve your academic reputation worldwide taking into account that we are going to publish 2000 copies of the Directory and deliver the copies to many universities worldwide.
