International conference in Sumy, Ukraine 2013: Keynote speakers
Dear colleagues we are currently working on arranging next annual international conference at the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine in Sumy, Ukraine in May 2013.
Experience of the previous conference showed a potential of organising excellent scientific events in Sumy (you may see the report on the conference here) and next year we promise to keep the brand and to make the conference even better and more interesting.
By now we are glad to announce two key-note speakers for the future conference.
Professor Donato Masciandaro, Bocconi University (Italy), Director of the Paolo Baffi Centre on Central Banking and Financial Regulation and Member of the Management Council of SUERF. He is also an economic Advisor of the United Nations, the Interamerican Development Bank, and the World Bank. His as actively engaged into the academic and regulative initiatives concerning financial regulation and functioning of the financial markets as in Italy so in Europe. His work has covered three main topics: central banking, financial regulation and supervision, illegal financial markets. He is always welcome as a speaker at the top scientific events in different parts of the world.
Erja Jumppanen, Managing Director at NASDAQ OMX (Finland). As managing director she has to establish and maintain relationships with senior officers (CFO, Investor Relations, President, CEO, Board of Directors). Consult, advise, position and sell value added investor relations, corporate communications, risk management, and board products to issuers and non-listed companies. Use such relationships to influence listing decision and penetrate board and key decision makers at the account. So she can share valuable experience of the specifics of the managing director’s day-to-day work and highlight interesting information about Nordic financial markets.
